Changes

Do you remember any of the events of January 2004? Here are a few to refresh your memory. Spirit, a NASA Mars Rover, landed successfully on Mars; Queen Elizabeth named the Queen Mary II cruise liner, the largest passenger ship ever built; Hollywood stars Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez end their relationship; and I took over the day-to-day operations of SewingWeb.com.

But things change. And just as the relationship between those two actors ended, my relationship with this site is ending as well. After three and a half years, I will be leaving at the end of June.

It has been fun. I have enjoyed answering the various questions brought up by you, the members of this on-line community. The weekly chats were a great way to get to meet some of you in "person". The message boards were (and are) a great resource of knowledge, sharing, and ideas.

So what's next for this site? I'm not sure, to be honest. This is up to the owners of the site, the folks at SewingPatterns.com. What's next for me? I am going to do more sewing, embroidery, and even learn to create my own machine embroidery designs. I will drop in on the message boards, using the name of SewMagical.
