Holiday Season 2003
Hello, and Happy Holidays to everyone!
Well, Thanksgiving has come and gone, and December is here. The stores
and the houses are starting to wear their holiday things, and the radio
stations are playing Christmas carols and other seasonal songs.
Our front page has been updated, with a brief article about winter,
familiar things, and expanding horizons. On the same page, you will
find a link to our 2003 Holiday Project-A-Day Calendar. We did this last
year, and the response was very positive, so we decided to do it again.
Each day has a link to a different project; explore and enjoy!
The Gallery has been updated, too. If you haven't stopped by to take a
look lately, we invite you to do so. There are new pictures in the
"Miscellaneous" category, of an elaborate medieval-style cloak, and "For
The Home" has pictures of sofa cushion covers made by combining
different fabrics. If you have pictures of things you have made, we'd
love to post those also!
Finally, I want to remind everyone that we have a weekly chat session,
on Thursday evenings at 8 PM Eastern time. This could be a wonderful
oppurtunity to get to know your fellow stitches, meet new friends, and
share your knowledge of, and love for, sewing.
Whether you celeberate one holiday, many holidays, or none at all, I
want to wish everyone a happy and healthy winter season!
